Single node to two node upgrade on Linux - CustomerID
If you are upgrading from a version lower than Ubisecure CustomerID 5.0, then please first upgrade to a Single Node version equal or higher than Ubisecure CustomerID 5.0.
Single node to two node upgrade process
The idea is to set up a new two node system and to keep the current single node system as a backup.
- Install a new two node system. During installation:
- Transfer configuration files from old single node system to both nodes of the two node system.

folder linux.config

- Correct addresses included in the
linux.config
file. Execute setup script on both nodes:
cd /usr/local/ubisecure/customerid/application ./setup.sh
- Perform database schema update depending on versions.

- Point the new installation to the same data storages that the old single node system used.
- Transfer configuration files from old single node system to both nodes of the two node system.
- Move traffic to the new two node installation.
- Shutdown old single node system.
- Backup and remove old single node system.
