In password-reset application after adding an email address and clicking on submit button
”The password can not be reset at this time
” error is displayed.
Error in Catalina logs -

This problem occurs when allowed method’s in password-reset application have different authentication methods (password.1 or password.2 ) from the user’s authentication method.
\uD83C\uDF31 Solution
Check the user’s authentication method
Go to SSO Management console → Password Reset → Allowed Methods
Add the User’s authentication method in the Allowed Methods for Password Reset application and remove the other authentication methods from Allowed Methods.
