"Remove" button not working for remove role functionality issue in CID

 Problem

In CID application, “Remove” button fails to effectively remove the assigned role for a user in below shown view. (Click Home → click Users tab → Search the User → Click on User → click on Roles tab )
There is no error message, or any form of feedback presented when attempting to remove the role by clicking on “Remove”. As a result, the users are left unaware of whether the action was successful or not.

 

 

 Solution

  1. Check the configuration files for below mentioned message property

    general.ui.confirm.removerole = Are you sure you want to remove this role? 
  2. If this property is missing then that will cause problems for removing roles functionality to work.

  3. To make it work, add this property in messages_en.properties and messages_xx.properties (based on locale you are using) files in customerid/application/custom folder.
